With the Easter weekend approaching, here are some important reminders about Central Bedfordshire Council services.
Reporting faulty street lights
Please let the clerk know of any faulty street lamps which belong to Clophill Parish Council.

These will be recognisable by the letter 'PC' followed by a number which identifies the lamp to the office and our contractor.
Our contractor visits the village every 2 weeks during the darker winter months and every 4 weeks during the lighter summer months.
Two/three days following inspection any necessary repairs will be carried out.
If you have a street light outside your house please ensure any trees, bushes or growths do not cover the column or lamp.

Clophill Parish Council will be commencing a project from Febuary 2019 to replace all the lanterns with LED lanterns to help reduce energy charges.
